2026 Vicksburg Rocket Football

Vicksburg Rocket Football is for youth players ages 5-12 years/kindergarten - 6th grade. 

This is the main fall football season. Season begins mid-August with our conditioning week. Weekly practices, with games every Saturday through mid-late October at Vicksburg High School Stadium.

*Flag football is for youth players ages 5-12 years, grades Kindergarten-6th grade and has no residency restrictions (although there is a non-resident fee).
 
*Heads Up (tackle) football is for players grades 3-6 and has a residency requirement (player must reside in the Vicksburg school district or attend a Vicksburg public school).

Mission Statement: The Vicksburg Rocket Football Organization is committed to promoting a positive environment to teach, play and learn the fundamentals of football. We are committed to the development of character, athleticism and teamwork in each of our athletes, while focusing on sportsmanship at all times. Together, with the genuine participation of parents, coaches, and players we can establish a lifetime appreciation for the game.

Goals: Vicksburg Rocket Football goals: To establish a unified program at all levels of Vicksburg Football. To create a winning attitude between student athletes, parents, coaches, and community. TO HAVE FUN!
