Volunteer Roles

The Vicksburg Rocket Football program is run completely by volunteers. Without the help of our volunteers, this program would not exist. We are always looking for any parent/grandparent/fan/community member that is willing to lend a hand to make this a great football program for all of our outstanding players!

COACHES NEEDED!!!

We always plan on at least 20-30 teams between our flag divisions, and 6-8 teams for tackle. That's a lot of head coaches plus 1-5 assistant coaches per team! We are expecting to have the same number if not more teams each year, so we always appreciate your help! If you are interested and willing to be a head coach or assistant coach, please indicate so when registering your account, or contact Will Reynolds, Heads Up Program Director at [email protected].

TEAM PARENTS NEEDED!

As you can imagine, being a coach is a rewarding yet demanding job, and all coaches could use a helping hand during the season with team communication and organization! Please consider being a team parent and helping out our awesome coaches! If you are interested in being a team parent, please indicate your willingness to do so during your registration process or contact Adrienne Horton at [email protected].

Board Member!

Interested in joining our board? We have several positions that could always use an extra hand. Or you can become a board officer member to assist when and where needed as your time allows. This is also a great opportunity to get involved in our program and be ready to jump into a position should it become available. Be sure to sign up when registering and a board member will be in touch.
